Open Positions

Endeavor Energy Holdings has a need for a Senior Project Accountant to work in Houston closely with the company Controller on international power projects. The role’s responsibilities are to manage corporate and project activities as laid out below under the duties & responsibilities section.


  • Liaise and work closely with project accounting team,
  • Oversee project financial system accounting integrity, input and reporting,
  • Coordinate and provide accounting support to local accounting team,
  • Assist in required reporting including monthly close, internal, external and tax related reporting,
  • Assist with monthly board report,
  • Work with project teams to develop and maintain cash flow forecasts,
  • Sign-off on Balance Sheet reviews,
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory compliance reporting and audits,
  • Coordinate regional activities related to actual reporting and financial forecasting to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies,
  • Assist with strategic development and implementation of process improvement initiatives for the project in alignment with the company’s objectives,
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedure,
  • Recommend and initiate improvements in financial, operating, and administrative processes that support the business,
  • Oversee project system of internal controls and ensure compliance with the company financial policy manuals,
  • Assist in international accounting and local statutory compliance,
  • Help liaise with internal and external tax, legal and payroll teams and advisors and provide ad-hoc reporting and support to management,
  • Involvement in special projects, including system migrations etc.,
  • Assist with corporate accounting matters including month-end close, reporting, compliance and audits,
  • Interact with Company partners around the world and work collaboratively across multi-functional teams, and
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.


Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent discipline;
  • Minimum two to five years of work experience in Intercompany Accounting required; International accounting experience in Africa preferred; experience in power a plus;
  • Proficient in project accounting and GAAP and IFRS a plus;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Intuit QuickBooks and other ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics Navision a plus,
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) are essential;
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills and be attentive to details
  • Successful candidate will be proactive and self-motivated;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize required;
  • Ability to work under multiple deadline pressures required; and
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with individuals at all levels of the Company.

  • Ability to solicit feedback on priorities to be able to stay on top of the most pressing matters;
  • Ability to gauge realistic timelines for projects given multiple competing priorities;
