Sean T. Long
Sean T. Long, Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor Energy, has almost 20 years and over $14B worth of development, construction, financing and management experience in power-related industries.
Mr. Long, former Senior Vice President and head of Enron International Africa team, has served on various private company boards and executive management committees, including Consolidated Asset Management Services, LLC (CAMS), an asset management and operations and maintenance services company to the oil and gas, midstream and power industries. Prior to CAMS, Mr. Long was Senior Vice President of Universal Pegasus International, a global energy focused engineering, procurement and construction management firm, and was responsible for all of its international and power business.
Mr. Long also served as an Officer in the United States Army resigning his commission as a Captain. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1987 and later earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1993. Mr. Long is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York.
Scott Mackin is a Managing Partner and Co-President for Denham Capital and heads the firm’s Power & Renewables team. Scott brings 25 years of energy experience to Denham and is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, and Valuation Committee.
Prior to joining Denham, Scott was President and CEO of Waypoint Energy, Managing Partner at The Chatham Group, President and CEO of Covanta Energy Corporation, President of Ogden Energy, and General Counsel at Ogden Projects. Scott currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Greenleaf Power LLC, BioTherm Energy, Gradient Resources Inc., Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (“FRV”), and Rio Energy.
Scott received a Bachelor of Arts, Honors Program, from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
Riaz Siddiqi is a Founder and Managing Partner of Denham Capital and brings more than 32 years of experience to the firm in the energy and asset management fields. He is a member of the Investment Committee and Valuation Committee.
Prior to joining Denham, Riaz was President and CEO of Capstone Global Energy, and previously held executive roles, including Managing Director at Cinergy Capital and Trading and other Cinergy companies. Riaz also served as Manager, Market Management Research, for the Electric Power Research Institute, and in various professional capacities with Georgia Power Company, San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern Company, after spending some time as a project engineer in Pakistan. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Denham investee companies Gradient Resources, Vitag and Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd. Riaz is a volunteer pilot for Grace Flight of America, Pilots for Patients and Veterans Airlift Command and is a recipient of the Asia Society Houston Center’s award for leadership in business and philanthropy. Riaz is involved in several public service causes and serves on the board of the American Pakistan Foundation, and is on the Leadership Council of Convergence.
Riaz received a Bachelor of Science from Pakistan University of Energy & Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at Mississippi State University.
Justin DeAngelis serves on the Board of Directors for Denham Capital, and is responsible for origination, analysis, structuring, valuation and execution of investments for the Power & Renewables Deal Team. He joined Denham Capital in 2007.
Prior to joining Denham, Justin was a Director at Waypoint Energy and worked as a Manager at Pace Global Energy and PG&E National Energy Group, after serving as an Engineer at Delmarva Power. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Biotherm Energy, Plantation Energy Australia Pty Ltd., Rio Energy and subsidiaries of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (“FRV”).
Justin received a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and a Master of Business Administration from LeBow College of Business at Drexel University.
Jens Thomassen serves on the Board of Directors for Denham Capital, responsible for origination, analysis, structuring, valuation and execution of investments for the Power & Renewables Deal Team. He joined Denham Capital in 2012.
Prior to joining Denham, Jens was a Director at Hg Capital, where he originated, executed and sat on the board of companies and transactions in wind, solar, hydro and conventional energy across Europe. Before Hg Capital, Jens was with GE Energy Financial Services, BHP Billiton, BP and Enron.
He holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and the University of St. Gallen.
