Sean T. Long

Sean T. Long, Sr. is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor Energy Holdings LLC, a U.S.-headquartered, privately held independent power company focused on developing, acquiring, financing, constructing, owning and operating power generation plants in Africa. Endeavor Energy is a leading independent power generation and development company focused on Africa with nearly 700MW, $1.6 billion under or nearing construction in Africa since its inception with another $4.4 billion of power generation projects under development.  Endeavor Energy has offices in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, Accra, Ghana and Conakry, Guinea, Dubai, UAE and headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA.  Mr. Long has over 24 years and over $15 billion worth of development, acquisition, construction, financing and management experience in energy-related industries – including solar, wind, hydroelectric, gas-fired, LNG-to-Power, LPG-to-Power, coal and various other types of power and energy technologies. Mr. Long has been involved in power and energy infrastructure projects in Africa since 1997.

Mr. Long is former Senior Vice President and head of Enron International’s business activities in Africa. Under Mr. Long’s leadership, Enron developed the first independent power project in Nigeria, a $300 million, 300MW gas-fired power project located in Lagos.  He was also involved in the development of the $400 million Pande gas field and pipeline project that delivers natural gas into South Africa today from Mozambique.

He has served on various private company boards and executive management committees, including Endeavor Energy and its various subsidiaries. Mr. Long also serves on the board of the Business Counsel for International Understanding, a non-profit organization that facilitates mutually beneficial, person-to-person relationships between business and government leaders worldwide. He also served on the executive management committee of Consolidated Asset Management Services, LLC (CAMS), a privately-owned asset management and operations and maintenance services company to the oil and gas, midstream and power industries. Prior to CAMS, Mr. Long was Senior Vice President of Universal Pegasus International, a global energy-focused engineering, procurement and construction management firm, and was responsible for all of its international and power business.

Mr. Long also served as an officer in the United States Army as a Captain. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering (a specialty electrical engineering degree) from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1987. He later earned his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law in 1993. Admitted in 1993, Mr. Long is a member of the New York State Bar.

Scott Mackin

Scott Mackin is a Managing Partner and Co-President for Denham Capital and heads the firm’s Power & Renewables team. Scott brings 25 years of energy experience to Denham and is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, and Valuation Committee.

Prior to joining Denham, Scott was President and CEO of Waypoint Energy, Managing Partner at The Chatham Group, President and CEO of Covanta Energy Corporation, President of Ogden Energy, and General Counsel at Ogden Projects. Scott currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Greenleaf Power LLC, BioTherm Energy, Gradient Resources Inc., Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (“FRV”), and Rio Energy.

Scott received a Bachelor of Arts, Honors Program, from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.

Riaz Siddiqi

Riaz Siddiqi is a Founder and Managing Partner of Denham Capital and brings more than 32 years of experience to the firm in the energy and asset management fields. He is a member of the Investment Committee and Valuation Committee.

Prior to joining Denham, Riaz was President and CEO of Capstone Global Energy, and previously held executive roles, including Managing Director at Cinergy Capital and Trading and other Cinergy companies. Riaz also served as Manager, Market Management Research, for the Electric Power Research Institute, and in various professional capacities with Georgia Power Company, San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern Company, after spending some time as a project engineer in Pakistan. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Denham investee companies Gradient Resources, Vitag and Trans-Tasman Resources Ltd. Riaz is a volunteer pilot for Grace Flight of America, Pilots for Patients and Veterans Airlift Command and is a recipient of the Asia Society Houston Center’s award for leadership in business and philanthropy. Riaz is involved in several public service causes and serves on the board of the American Pakistan Foundation, and is on the Leadership Council of Convergence.

Riaz received a Bachelor of Science from Pakistan University of Energy & Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at Mississippi State University.

Justin DeAngelis

Justin DeAngelis serves on the Board of Directors for Denham Capital, and is responsible for origination, analysis, structuring, valuation and execution of investments for the Power & Renewables Deal Team. He joined Denham Capital in 2007.

Prior to joining Denham, Justin was a Director at Waypoint Energy and worked as a Manager at Pace Global Energy and PG&E National Energy Group, after serving as an Engineer at Delmarva Power. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Biotherm Energy, Plantation Energy Australia Pty Ltd., Rio Energy and subsidiaries of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (“FRV”).

Justin received a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and a Master of Business Administration from LeBow College of Business at Drexel University.

Paul Winters

Paul Winters is a Managing Director at Denham Capital and its General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He brings over 23 years of experience to Denham. As General Counsel, Paul is responsible for all legal matters affecting Denham, its funds and its fund investments. He is a member of the Valuation Committee.

Prior to joining Denham, he was an attorney in the Project Development and Finance Group of Latham & Watkins LLP, specializing in international power project development and financing, and an analyst responsible for constructing financial models of mining companies and other projects for The Winters Company. Paul serves on the Board of Directors of Wide Horizons for Children, a Boston-based adoption and child welfare agency.

Paul received a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.
